About Us

We are a Washington State non-profit committed to economic, environmental, cultural and energy sustainability for our state's Olympic Peninsula.

Founded in 2008, Cleantech West Sound is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized to educate individuals and affected communities concerning the social and environmental benefits associated with sustainable development in West Sound and on the Olympic Peninsula, including new sources of clean and renewable energy.

Cleantech West Sound's projects and other efforts will primarily involve the collection, development and dissemination of scientific, policy, technical, and other relevant information for the benefit of communities in a position to benefit from renewable energy, primarily ocean energy from waters off the Pacific Coast.

Cleantech West Sound's principals collectively have technical, business, financial, legal, project management, organizational and military procurement backgrounds, with an emphasis on sustainability and clean technology.
